Bobcat's end 2009 in sole possession of 1st place with 3 -2 OT victory over Shield

Gravenhurst ON, Sunday December 13, 2009, Elliot Lake Bobcats 3, South Muskoka Shield 2 in overtime.

This was one game I would have liked to have witnessed.  According to Coach Ryan Leonard the whole team gave it a great effort!  They decided it was time to give, in the words of the Coach, the Shield "an early Christmas Present".  Matt Perry was solid in between the pipes and the over time goal was scored by #13 Roman Jurak.  Other tallies can be seen in the box score (click on the link below)

This was a tough six point weekend, having played three games in successive days along with the apprehension of departing for home for the holidays tomorrow!  Well done Bobcats! This is a great lead in to what surely will be a great second half during 2010.
