Bobcats even Series after 'proper rest' defeating
the Storm 6 - 1

story and photos by Ian Gibson

Deseronto ON, Monday March 15, 2010; Deseronto Storm 1, Elliot Lake Bobcats 6.

Coach Ryan Leonard described this match as the best road game the Bobcats have played this year.  As I had guessed, the boys were exhausted by the trip and along with Goalie Perry being ill accounted for last nights horror show.  It was not as bad as it seems as during yesterdays contest they out shot the Storm 55 to 26, which tells me that their goal tending was up and ours was down.  Tonight the shots on goal were a little more even with the Cats out shooting the Storm 39 to 30.  All the scoring was done in the first two periods with goals being scored by Mirga, Rogers, two by Sefcik (one power play) and two power play goals by Tom Rush. This evens the series and should make for a great fifth game this Thursday evening, see you at the rink if you're able.
