The Dragons were dragging in large 12 - 3
loss to the Cats
story and photos by Ian Gibson

Situations like this lead to many opportunities for the Bobcats
Elliot Lake Nov 26: The first fourteen minutes of the
first period looked like it was going to be an interesting match between these
two teams. The Dragons, who earlier this afternoon held the Bradford
Rattles to a 5 to 4 loss, came out skating however it wasn't meant to continue.
From the fourteen minute on the Dragons did not seem to be on the ice.
They appeared to literally run out of gas. They just kept collapsing and
couldn't generate any offense at all, not even when they were five on four!
I guess maybe they brought it all against the Rattlers. However, let us
not take anything away from the Cats, they were playing top notch and just kept
the pressure on for the rest of the game.
Shots on goal tell the tale, The Bobcats had 67 to the Dragons
13!
Finding the back of the net for the Cats twice each were: #9
Patrick Smolen #7 Chad Barrows, #12 David Sefcik with single tallies from #8
John Johnson, #10 Derrick Pilatic, #13 Roman Jurak, #16 Matt Rogers, #23 Patrick

(heavy sigh) It would have been easier to list the ones who did not score or
assist, wait a minute, there were none! The others either did not dress
for tonight's event or got any ice time!
Credit for the Dragons goes to #15 Brandon Amirault (1g,1a), #11
DJ Champagne (1g) #14 Jonah Coonishish (1g) and with assists were #5 Richard
Whynn, #10 Cody Giroux and #16 Justin Huycke.
Well boys, getting buy the Toronto Moose tomorrow should net
