Two new forwards are joining the roster!

Joining us this week will be Cory Marquardt 20, from the North Bay Sky Hawks.  Corey played in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League for Baie Comeau during 2007/2008.  Corey is six foot one inch tall and weights in at 205 pounds! His brother Matt Marquardt presently plays for the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey league. Cory will be wearing jersey number 18.

The second forward joining the roster this week is Tyler Ryan from Hamner ON formerly played for the Manatoulin Islanders, weighs 205 pounds and stands six foot. Tyler will wear jersey number 10.

Both players should add a little weight (pardon a bad pun) to our very speedy and well balanced forward lines.

In unrelated news, Darren White, formerly # 18 has been traded to the Algoma Avalanche where he is expected to get more ice time.  Good luck Darren. Quitting the team and returning home to Brookdale Manitoba for personal reasons is former #10 Derrick Pilatic. We wish you well Derrick good luck.
